This is Kyle with Steady Calls.
I wanted to drop you this quick video to make sure that you're getting the maximum attention from Google your Google Business Listing as possible. In this video, I'll share with you a few different things:
First, just a quick view of your normal business listing, how it normally shows up? I just want to point out a few things there.
Secondly, I want to point out how your business is or how your company is showing up around town because there's a misconception that if you pull it up when you're at your place of business, or your shop, or your house with wherever you based on. Wherever you signed up, registered your Google My Business that if you pull it up, there that's the same way that you appear around town. It's not true, just spell that one.
And finally, I want to just paint a picture of where we can we can get you or and where you are right now. So let's go from there. So, let's get started. So, first of all, if you search for the most common concrete words that people are searching for these days, it's "Concrete Companies Near Me." And since, I'm in Northwest Iowa, I search Baton Rouge in Louisiana and that pops up.
So, what comes up then is your-, first of all, you have an ad which gets anywhere between 10, 15% of the clicks. There are of the traffic that comes through of the people that's looking for concrete services done. Other looking to have their driveway done. They're looking to have their foundation done.
And then, you have more what I would deem more of the trustworthy section of the web because a lot of people know that you can just throw up an ad in a day. And then, you can buy your way to the top, so you can have an ill. You can have a not so good company by their way to the top and get some of the traffic that way.
Now, more trusted results are going to be the business profiles here. As well as, the results that come more down here when you see the more original businesses like Lee's Concrete. So, but we're going to focus on this part today. This is called the Google My Business Listing section. So, the goal here on your listing is to be on this part here.
This part here garners about 60 to 70% of the traffic of basically of the people who are looking to spend money on the concrete for their residents or for their business. This is the place that garners. It gets 70%, 60 to 70% of the people looking for it. The rest of the 30% goes down into the search results here.
So that's the point that I want to get there. What I want to do now is I want to pull up a special tool called a Heat Map. Now, this is called a Heat Map because what it does, it shows how good your Google My Business section is now. Not every business is like this. Some business have more red. Some businesses have more yellow.
Some businesses have more green. Now, this is just rated just like a stoplight. The greener it is, the better it is and clearly, a lot of this stuff is not. Yeah! This one isn't very good. It's not ranking very well on a lot of different areas here. The goal of this is to show where you're ranked well. Where your Google My Business shows up and where it does not.
So, here, you're, if we search, if somebody searched from down here in Prairieville, you're gonna get, you're gonna be on just above the search area. Versus, if somebody searched for it over here, you're gonna be on the second. You're gonna, they're gonna have to click 3 or 4 times to get to your listing which they're likely not going to, statistically speaking.
So then, if we and I want to pull out here or zoom out to this area here, we're going to roll into the best one in the niche here. So, this is your-, this is the one that's put invested time and effort into their Google My Business Listing. And so, they're getting a lot of the calls and they're bidding on a lot more jobs than those who don't invest in their Google My Business Listing.
So this is where we notice how everything is green. The maximum number on here is a 4 and a 5. So, only in these two places, they're not showing up. Ironically, it's the same place where you're have you're closest to showing up, so it's interesting! But that's how this works. So, up in here, basically, every within 12.5 miles radius of Baton Rouge, they're showing up.
They're getting a lot of the calls and they're able to grow their business that way because they're, because they've invested in showing up in all these different places in the legitimate sector not just buying an ad. So, where does our-, where does my business come in? Let's study!
