I just wanted to drop you this quick video to make sure that you're getting the maximum attention from your Google My Business Listing as possible. In this video, I'll show you three different things.

First, the view of your Google and business as you normally would see it. I  just want to point out a few things there.

Secondly, how I want to show you the difference of how you show up around town. You're not going to show up on the Northeast side of town the same way as you're showing up on the South side, it's very different.

Finally, I want to show you the difference of where you are to where you could be by comparing you to one of the more top concrete contractors in the space currently, alright? 

Let's get started!

If you were to search for "Concrete Services Near Me," which is the most popular search when people are looking to buy a concrete driveway or get their foundation poured, that's what they'll search. I had Birmingham, Alabama because I'm up in Iowa.

When you search for this often, you'll have some ads and then you'll have the listings. The ads are going to get 5 to 15% of the traffic so that leaves 85%, right? Anywhere between 95 to 85%, now 60 to 70%, or the vast majority of it are going to go to the trusted listings here.

I say trusted because what I've noticed in my time doing this for a few years. Now is that a lot of consistently 5 to 15% goes to the ads. No more than that, because it seems to be because people see the ads and say "Oh, any company can buy their way to the top!"

But it takes time and then continuous investment here. You earn your way to the top this way versus you can easily just buy your way to the top via the ad. It's more trustworthy this way than the rest of the traffic anywhere between 30, or anywhere between 15 to 30% will go down here.

And then, a small slice of the traffic will go down to click onto the next page because scrolling versus clicking, scrolling is a lot easier. It's because that's what people are trained to do with social media and all that. I don't need to go on with that because you already know.

But if you were to click on that, there's a small slice of traffic does. What we're going to do is search for see if your company pulls up here. With this search based on that, you're not coming up there. Let's look at how you come up around town, right? Hurst Goodnight Contractor, I put your company in my special tool here.

This is a Heat Map, it's integrated directly with Google. It's one of Google's trusted services and what it does is if you were it indicates where your business listing will come up based on location. If you're out in center point, for instance, you have half a chance of showing up.

If they're on the West side, you're not very likely to show up because you're going to appear below the fold. Because you have the listings 1 to 3, and 3 will show up there, but they have to go beyond there. They have to click which is a lot of effort web speaking wise to find you versus if they're on the East side.

You will show up because they don't have to go anywhere to find you. Because you'd be result 1, 2, or you'd be number 2 here, right? That's how this map works. We've color-coded the map because it makes it super easy to tell if you're going to show up on that in above the fold or below.

If you show up above it, that means, you're gold and because you have a third of a chance to get part of that 60 to 70% of traffic. Meaning, people looking to buy a driveway, or a foundation, or something like, or a service like that.

Now, a lot of this what 20 means is you're appearing either past the first page, or past the first 10 results there, or you have the past second page, or beyond that. We don't go beyond that. Basically, if you're on the third page of Google Search, or Google Listing results, you're irrelevant as far as search is concerned.

Because how often do you search for a service on Google and how often do you go to the third page to find the company that you're going to work with, right? That's kind of how that works. Now, the more green that you have in this one and the more calls that you're going to get as you know in this business, the more calls you get.

The more bids you can go out and do, the more business you ultimately close and you make money. Ultimately, green symbolizes that the more how much money you can make in there, how many opportunities to bid you are going to get, the more bids you get, the more business you close.

The more you close, the better you can take care of your family and your employees, right? So that's how this all fits together. Now, I wanted to show you the difference of where you are to where you could be. Let's this is where you are. Let's look at where you could be.

American Concrete Foundations and Walls are dominating significant parts of the space here. Notice how they have a lot of green, a lot of 1, 2, and 3 here. They're showing up above the fold in a lot more places. This means, that they're getting a lot more calls, a lot more people looking to have concrete poured in one place or another. Either, a retaining wall, a driveway, or foundation in residential.

I mean in business, you can get a floor. I mean there's a lot of places and businesses you can get. Businesses often call through here, too. I use residential because it's super easy to do that way, but they're getting all. They have a lot more green, so they're getting a lot more of the calls.

They're getting a lot more opportunities to bid and they ultimately have a lot more opportunities to close business, and so on, and so forth. They're able to take care of their family and their employees a lot better than a lot more. They have a lot more opportunity to do so than a company that's not appearing, as well.

You can actually interact with it if your business is not coming up all. You got to do is click on the down arrow here and you can call. You can search for your company and then you click on it to pop it up. It will only work for probably about 30 days before it gets cut off, but you can look at all your competitors here.

You can see how they're doing, either, worse in this case. I mean many of them are doing worse, but we will be focused on are we doing. We want to be the best in our space not the worst, or I'm not?
