I wanted to send you this video to make sure you're getting the maximum attention from Google as possible. In this video, I'll show you few different things:
First, the view of your Google My Business Listing as normal.
Second, the view of how your company shows up on Google around town.
As well as, how the top concrete company in Cedar Rapids is coming up to everyone else in town.
Let's get started!
For the first part of this video, I want to show you a few different things on your listing. If you were to search for the most popular phrase that people are look, who are looking to spend money on their concrete service, whether they need a foundation, whether they need a retaining wall or something like that.
You'll notice that they'll search "Concrete Services Near Me." I had Cedar Rapids because I'm over in Northwest Iowa. You guys are in Central, so sometimes you're gonna have an ad up here. It depends on the season, but it's the seasons toning out right now as far as in Iowa goes.
Anyway, they're not running ads, but the ads here will garner anywhere between 5 to 15% of the traffic. Sometimes, you'll have another ad above the first listing here. Again, 5 to 15% of traffic lumps in with this one. You got 85% of the traffic's coming down the page, yet, 60 to 70% of the traffic.
The people are looking to spend money on concrete, we'll stop. We'll stop here because it's the most informational area. They get the phone number, they get the reporting on the rate on the rating of the company. As well as, they can go visit the website for more information or find their company location than the rest of the traffic will be most.
The vast majority of the rest of traffic will go down the page looking for the their company in the organic listings. A small selection maybe 3 to 5% will look down here. I will click on the "View All" section to go find a concrete company. So often, what I find is that a lot of the companies are buried down here and are hardly ever seen.
Means that they're missing out on a lot of the traffic that comes down the page. So, more and more people are turning to Google to find the companies that they need, so it's important to be here. Now, that you've seen how your normal Google My Business Listing appears, and know the traffic.
How much traffic comes in each section? You've got 5, 15, 60, to 70%, and pretty much the difference down here. Let's dive into the next section, alright? Kelly Concrete, let's dive into the second part of the video here. Let's go into the details on your map listing. So, this is a Heat Map tool. It pulls up Google information.
That essentially enables location-based information from your Google My Business Listing. So, let's give an example here. Say, somebody's searching for concrete services down here near Mount Vernon. You'll look, you'll have 33.3 chance of getting that call because you'll be, you're actually showing up there.
Now, the bigger picture of this is I like to think of it like a stoplight, okay? Green is good. Yellow is okay and orange. Red is not very good at all. Why? Because green enables you to keep going where you want to go without interruptions. Yellow, you're probably going to have some delay. Red, you're get, you're guaranteed to have delay.
So, in your listing, you have no guarantee super guaranteed delay and you have a lot of go and get them where you want to go and get actually get to where you want to go. So, 1 through 3 is green. 4 through 7 is it starts the yellow. And then, the orange and red starts after that. So, essentially, it's the same way with your business.
Just like since green enables you to go where you want to go your business. You want to have customers calling you every day saying, "Hey! We want to have concrete done work! We want to we need our foundation pour. Do you guys do that?" And then, you say "Yeah and we'll go up!" And then, go out there and bid it or, maybe you get somebody who wants their retaining wall done.
And then, you go out and you're given the opportunity to go bid it, then. So, when you have more 1's and through and 3's on here, you're able to see what actually you're able to get in line for the call. You don't have to sit there and wait for somebody to go and dig through the map listing like this.
So, otherwise, somebody has to click on. Remember earlier, when I talked about this, you've got 5 to 15% goes to the map listing. 60 to 70% goes here. If you're a 1, or 3, 1, 2, or 3, you're gonna come up here and you have an opportunity to get the call. Then, it really depends on people are going to look at more of your ratings before they look at either your location or your website.
Some people don't even have websites up there. They get calls just as well because they're up here and they're a highly rated company. So that's how it works. Now, let's get into what things could look like for you, alright? So, here's more of more dominant players on the South side. So, if you look at, they've got all the green pretty much on the entire hat almost on the entire half of the South side of Cedar Rapids.
So, this is how to dominate that area so they're going to get a lot of calls from Norway, Walford, Fairfax, Atkins, Covington, even up in Palo. That's where they're get. They're going to get a lot of the calls from they're putting their name in the hat for having a solid chance of getting the business.
That way they're putting their nail. They're actually appearing over here on the South side of town. So that would be what we could work to get you to. So that's what the dominating company looks like. That's where my company Steady Calls comes in. So then, it'll turn to notice how it's they're all different here. It's pulling information that was only taken less than a week ago or about a week ago from Google. So, we pulled well.
