Hey, Ray Cochran Company LLC!

This is Eric with Steady Calls.

I wanted to quickly send you this video to make sure that you're getting the maximum attention from Google as possible. This video is going to cover a few things.

First, the view of your Google My Business as it shows up in the normal Google Listing. Then, we'll take a look at your business search results as they show up around town. As well as, how the top competition shows up around Kansas City. This is a normal Google search, trying to replicate someone who's looking for concrete services.

This phrase is the top keywords that most people who are looking for the services that you provide are searching for. I added Kansas City as a locational tag so that we make sure that we're getting companies that are in your area, or where your clients are. I want to draw your attention to three things.

The first is the ads section. That's the first thing that clients are typically seen. These get about 10 to 20% of the traffic. By traffic, I mean, if you think about people who are going past your company and reading your sign, physically, that would be physical traffic foot traffic on the internet we look at web traffic.

So that would be people who are looking actively looking for you on Google so about 15 to 20% of that traffic goes to ads. That's why people are pushing them paying Google. The next section is what's called the Map Pack. These are the top three Google My Business Listing and they are tagged locationally.

These get about 60 to 70% of the traffic or calls coming your way. And then, lastly, we have the organic search results which would be what's popping up based on the words through Google's Algorithm. When we look at the normal GMB listings, these top three are the most critical because they're what's called above the fold.

In order to see all of the companies, you have to click "Below The Fold," so if you think about it, you know? If you get snail mail and you have to judge whether it's worth your time to open it up, you're looking at what information they show above the fold. Because there's friction with having to click this button to go to all of the listings.

These top three that are above the fold gets the vast majority of the calls. And then, these next couple that you scroll through, usual, gets the rest. If you're on page 2, 3, 4, 5, good luck! This is a Heat Map, which is a tool that gives you a bird's eye view of how you're doing with your Google Listing all throughout town.

A lot of people don't really realize that all they've seen is that normal Google search results that we kind of stepped through. They don't really realize that can change based on your location. What this does is it puts a pin in a locational grid. Each one of these spots represents a different area around the Kansas City greater area.

If we kind of zoom in, I'm not sure if you're, yeah! We've got like Costco here, Chick Fil A, Chick Fil A, right? By this large intersection, this would be an example of the locational aspect. If we have somebody at Costco say, a Costco Manager who needs to repair has to have some concrete repair done at the facility.

Doing a Google search for "Concrete Services Near Me" that list is going to look different than, you know? A Chick Fil A Manager who's got the exact same issue putting in the exact same Google search. In this case, you are number 7 and in this case, your number 10 on the list.

As we zoom back out, you can get a good sense of how you're doing throughout the surrounding area. A lot of people business owners who aren't aware of this will search, you know? Close to their place of business and they're likely doing a lot better in the rankings. This is color-coded to give you a good view.

But if we look at the numbers, those relate directly. Like I said, before 7 and 10, those would be your ranking list from the top. Here your 2 and 3, this is very good! I kind of pointed out earlier, that means you're above the fold. You are in those top three that get shown to every person searching that get about 60% of the traffic.

And of course, the more traffic you get, the more people see your number, translates to more calls. More bids that you put out and ultimately, more jobs. So, 2, 1, 2, and 3 are really what you're shooting for. The next tier is kind of at 4 to10 range and it looks like you're a little stronger in the North and to the West side of the center of this grid.

And then, as we get sort of South and a little bit on the East edge of this, you know? This location is arbitrary to what I plugged in to give you a good sense. But as you get further and further away, you're losing the opportunity to get that phone call. So that's a view of how you're doing around town currently.

Yeah, here's a Heat Map of K and E Flatwork LLC. Just looking at it, you can tell based on the green to red ratio that they're doing quite well in this. This is the exact same locational grid that we looked at before. And you know that 3 to 4 numbers is going to be the most telling because of what I talked about.

With that below the fold concept where you are required to click in order to get to number 4, 5, 6, 7, and on to 10 after. About 10, you're dropping off onto that, you know? Third, click "Zone" where the traffic has really dropped off. So, above the fold, all this green over half the locations pin we've got here would be that above the fold.

Getting about 60 to 70% of the traffic heading on to Google and specifically, searching for concrete services. If we think about, you know? More green, resulting in more traffic. Of course, is connected to getting more calls, more bids, and more jobs. This is a very an example of a much more dominant Heat Map where you are really capturing the large chunk of that initial call.

Of course, you have to come in with bids and fulfill. But if you're looking at lead indicators, this is going to get you going on the right track in terms of maximizing your ability to grow your business and get more revenue. There is some weak spot toward the Southeast corner here, but  there's definitely room to grow and that's where my company Steady Calls come in.

Steady Calls help companies service their Google Map Listing so that Google knows you as the king of concrete in the Kansas City area. If you think of Google as someone who's very forgetful, you have to keep reminding them and letting them know what is important and what they should be focusing on.

What we do with Google is that we remind them of who is the guys in concrete in this area. We'll paste sticky notes all over the area like you might have to do with a forgetful spouse just to have those continual reminders. When it comes to Google, we'll instead of a physical sticky note, we'll use your map listing and kind of stick it around the internet. And specifically, in different local areas to remind Google who the real concrete kings are in the Kansas City area.
