I wanted to send you this video to make sure you're getting the maximum attention from Google as possible. In this video, I'll show you few different things: 

First, the view of your Google My Business Listing as normal.

Second, the view of how your company shows up on Google around town. As well as, how the top concrete company in Cedar Rapids is coming up to everyone else in town. 

Let's get started!

For the first part of this video, I want to show you a few different things on your listing. If you were to search for the most popular phrase that people are look, who are looking to spend money on their concrete service, whether they need a foundation, whether they need a retaining wall or something like that.

You'll notice that they'll search "Concrete Services Near Me." I had Cedar Rapids because I'm over in Northwest Iowa. You guys are in Central, so sometimes you're gonna have an ad up here. It depends on the season, but it's the seasons toning out right now as far as in Iowa goes.

Anyway, they're not running ads, but the ads here will garner anywhere between 5 to 15% of the traffic. Sometimes, you'll have another ad above the first listing here. Again, 5 to 15% of traffic lumps in with this one. You got 85% of the traffic's coming down the page, yet, 60 to 70% of the traffic.

The people are looking to spend money on concrete, we'll stop. We'll stop here because it's the most informational area. They get the phone number, they get the reporting on the rate on the rating of the company. As well as, they can go visit the website for more information or find their company location than  the rest of the traffic will be most.

The vast majority of the rest of traffic will go down the page looking for the their company in the organic listings. A small selection maybe 3 to 5% will look down here. I will click on the "View All" section to go find a concrete company. So often, what I find is that a lot of the companies are buried down here and are hardly ever seen.

Means that they're missing out on a lot of the traffic that comes down the page. So, more and more people are turning to Google to find the companies that they need, so it's important to be here. Now, that you've seen how your normal Google My Business Listing appears and know the traffic.

How much traffic comes in each section? You've got 5, 15, 60, to 70%, and pretty much the difference down here. Let's dive into the next section, alright? S & M Concrete, let's dive into it. This is what we call a Heat Map. What this does is it pulls in Google data and then shows the location that you Google My Business Listing comes in as a number.

We've also added color coding to this. A friend of mine worked on this for a couple years. Now, it's finally rolling out. What this is? The way you can imagine this is as between a stoplight. Green is golden. We all love green because it enables us to have no delay and us to keep going where we want to go.

Yellow things are going to be there's going to be some delay. There's a chance you may squeak by, but there's a likely chance you're going to have some delay. Now, orange or red means you got to slow down and probably stop. With orange, you got an option. With red, you don't.

All things considered, though, I've seen worse Heat Maps. I've seen people that have total red going on. Now, what these colors mean from a business standpoint is green means that you're going to get a lot of calls. I bet you that you get a lot of calls down from Atkins, Norway, and Walford, even down by Eli.

But my bet is that you also don't get that many calls from Huatha or Albernet, right? Because up there, you're not appearing on without having somebody having to go to the next set of listings. Remember, over here where we talked about, we got 60, we got 55 to 15% of the traffic is going to get eaten up by the ads that often appear here and here.

But then, down the road, if you scroll down a little bit, 60 to 70% of the traffic is going to go here. The majority of the leftover traffic is going to go down here to the organic listings. And traffic means people looking to buy concrete services because we're looking for "Concrete Services Near Me," the most popular search phrase around.

This is what your listing looks like currently. I also promised that I would say "Hey, this is what your listing could look like!" Let's dive into that, alright? Here's more of more dominant players on the South side. If you look at, they've got all the green, pretty much on the entire hat, almost on the entire half of the South side of Cedar Rapids.

This is how to dominate that area, so they're going to get a lot of calls from Norway, Wildford, Fairfax, Atkins, Covington, even up in Paulo. That's where they're getting they're going to get a lot of the calls from. They're putting their name in the hat for having a solid chance of getting the business that way they're putting there.

They actually appearing over here on the South side of town, so that'd be what we could work to get you. That's what the dominating company looks like. That's where my company Steady Calls comes in. Think of Google here like your forgetful sister or wife. To stay at the top of their mind, you've got to continually remind them of what you want them to do.
