Say, I wanted to make this video for you to make sure you're getting the maximum attention from your Google My Business Listing as possible. So, in this video, I'll show you three different things:
First of all, I want to show you how basically, how you normally see your Google My Business Listing and I want to point out some statistics there.
Secondly, I want to show you how your company shows up around town using a Heat Map tool. So, this is the Heat Map tool here, right?
And then finally, what I want to show you is basically your specific listing and the one means and how you one technique on how you can start pulling showing up more in the different areas around town using a tool called Geoimgr, okay?
So this is that's how it all will play out here, alright? So, let's dive in.
First of all, we're going to talk about your Google My Business Listing, so we're going to talk get out of Sioux Falls here and we're going to go to Springfield Missouri, right? Search instead for "Springfield Missouri," so this is how your normal listings come up here, right? So, first of all, you have no, if you're gonna have an ad, you're gonna have it right up here or right up above your first listing there.
That's those are gonna take 5 to 15% of the traffic, statistically speaking. Once that's done there, the next section is the Google My Business Listing section, you're normally gonna see these. So, 60 to 70% of the traffic looking for "Concrete Services Near Springfield Missouri" will come to this area and stop and find their business via what I call an Amazon Analysis.
So they're going to look at, okay, Liming Concrete's got 4.7 stars and they have 45 reviews. SMCS Springfield Concrete Services has 5 stars and they got well they only have 1 review with that. Selby's Concrete is a middle runner, they've got 5 stars and 6 reviews that are 5 stars. So that's the, so basically what's going to be between these two companies.
I would imagine because or sorry Selby's and Liming because they have a lot of reviews not quite as high, but they have a lot of reviews there. And Selby's has all five-star reviews, but not as many. So, I would imagine the call is going to be between those two. But first of all, you have to get your listing to come up in these first three positions in order for you to even play the Amazon Analysis game with your customers or potential customers.
So, how do you begin to get your listing in there? First of all, you got to know where it is. So, what we do is we start our due diligence on every single one of these Google My Business Listings. We're using this Heat Map tool. Now, what this Heat Map tool does is it tells me how your business comes up around Springfield Missouri.
As you can see over by Turners, Selby's Concrete dominates that area with position number one. Now, but as you go North and as you go West, you have Selby's starts to lose it well as you go as you get closer to Willard and up by the airport, alright? So that's where this is the power of the Heat Map is.
It tells you that you don't appear the same ways around town. So that's how the Heat Map works, alright? So, in this next section, I want to dive into a specific listing and give you more specific details on how you would begin to change it alright? Springfield Ready Mix, this is your specific Heat Map. So, let's dive in!
If you look at here on the Northwest side of town, you've got a lot of dominance out here. Especially, out toward Cave Springs, as well as, Willard, and basically around the airport Springfield Branson National Airport as well. What happens though? As you go South, the quality or the potency of your listing goes South as well.
Basically, your listing loses power as it enters. They're almost losing all of its power by the time it gets to Fremont Hills. It's not quite there with 16, which means it's going to be a little easier than it would be on 20. Because what 20 means on this map is that it's beyond that. It's either the 20th listing or beyond the 20th listing.
It doesn't go our Heat Map, doesn't go beyond 20. Because really if you're on the joke, in a lot of online business schools is that you have that if you're on the second page of Google, that's where you hide a dead body, right? So that because nobody goes there. But anyway, how would you start to move then?
As you go South in here, say you want to- so, let's go to here! Let's just on the North side of the downtown of Springfield. Let's say you want to start coming up more between on just on Highway 744 here, right? Because there, you've got a lot of strength and we want to move from strength to strength here. So, how do you do that?
Well, there's a lot of different techniques just as there's a lot of different techniques for pouring and finishing concrete. Like, you're going to use a lot of different tools like floats, trowels, control joiners, brooms, darby's. There's a lot of different techniques that go into that just like there's a lot of techniques to go into here.
But one simple one that can be done, you can take a half an hour each day, this week and upload a lot of images like if you were to- I'm sure you got a lot of images of jobs that or tricky jobs that did. That were hard to do, or/and that you accomplished well, or jobs that you've successfully done are pictures of your crew at different points of the year.
Take a lot of those images and tag each one of them. With the location on this map, there's 81 points on this map. It's a by 9 grid and you can do that for free here using this tool. Geoimgr is a very use. It is a very user-friendly tool to use. We have the pro version. But for the free version, I'll do fine for you.
You're gonna upload the image here. You can do one at a time. Then, you're going to go to the specific area on in Springfield that you need to come up for, right? That you're trying to come up for. So, we taught we talked about 744 is where we want to go. We want to begin to come up there. So, we're going to put our icon over there.
What that's going to do is give us the exact longitude and latitude or sorry latitude and longitude of this of that location. Then, we want to tag our image with that specific location. So that Google's robots can get it. So, we're going to write the tag with that. And then, once we get the confirmation of that, then we're going to add a name to it and what my suggestion is here is to add the most profitable service that you guys offer.
Whether that's a certain type of concrete the ones with like fiber in it. That makes the concrete extra strong or there's I'm sure there's other things that go into it as well. Then, add your lower-tier levels of concrete here, not the low quality. It's not low quality but it's just lower. There's different levels of concrete quality.
So, add your lower tier stuff that's not as profitable for you out of that here. So, Google at least knows that you offer it, right? Then, you're going to go to, then you add a link to your website, as well, hit the hit download. And then, you're going to upload this. I'm assuming you already know how to do that to your Google My Business Listing, so I'm not gonna bother showing you that here.
But upload it to your Google My Business Listing and then Google's robots will come like hawks onto that image. Anytime you touch your Google My Business Listing, they're like "Hey! Hey! There's something going on here! Hey! They're over there! Bam!" You know just like a hawk from high in the sky.
Drops down on a rabbit racing across. The racing across a drive alley, bam! That's basically what happens. So then, they're going to the- robots are going to come in, scan the latitude. Launch "Something's Going on over here!" is what they're going gonna say. "Something's going on! What's going on?"
They're gonna read the document name and that's what they're gonna that's what they're immediately gonna think, okay? "Somebody poured extra-strong fiber concrete here! Well, who was it? Well, who's listing are we in?" "We're in Springfield Ready Mix is listing. So obviously, they must have done it."
So, in future searches, we're going to begin to associate Springfield Ready Mixes name with their most the service with the document name that they gave, which is the most profitable service. So that's how you can begin to optimize your listing here. It does take some technical work.
It's a little bit of know-how there but it's easily doable now. But there's a lot of people know this technique already. So, I'm trying to get you caught up to the pack. Now you've seen the technique the easy technique of tagging your images and uploading them to your Google My Business Listing via Google via Geoimgr. So, let me dive in a minute to how Steady Calls helps companies optimize their listing, the bigger 10 000 foot view.

Probably, even more, detailed than that because each one of these bubbles is 2.5 miles apart from the next one. What we'll go down is to a mile by mile grid or even closer than that, so because we can go. We can dive into a radius that's 0.5 of a mile or even a quarter-mile apart.
So then, we'll do, what we'll go through is paste sticky nodes in each one of those areas and over time not give it 3 to 6 months.
