I wanted to send you this video to make sure you're getting the maximum attention from your Google My Business Listing as possible. In this video, I'll show you three quick things:
First of all, the view of your Google My Business Listing as you normally see it and I want to add, show you some stats there.
And then, secondly, the view of your company across town and I also want to show you one technique that will help you be where you could be, okay? I would get your Google My Business where it could be so, alright?
Let's get started!
We're going to start by going off here. You're going to suit most people looking for concrete services use "Concrete Services Near" and it'll be "Me," right? I'm located in Northwest Iowa, so to pull up Sioux Falls, I got to do, I have to search "Sioux Falls, South Dakota," you know? So, it pulls up.
You're going to see a map similar to this. Sometimes, you're going to have an ad up here. Sometimes, you're going to have an ad down here. That ad is going to pull anywhere between 5 to 15% of the people looking for concrete service. Looking to spend money on their patios, driveways, foundations, those kinds of things.
But they're then 60 to 70% of the traffic, statistically is going to come down here and look at doing Amazon Analysis, basically, okay? This guy's got 2.8 reviews, 2.8 stars on his listing. He's got four of them on average of four of you out of the average there. Then, he's got, then this guy Northwest Concrete Cutting and Crane Service has 5, as a bunch of 5-star reviews.
Between these two companies, who would you go with? I mean from a viewer's standpoint, you know? Obviously, you're going to go with this guy here. I mean the debate is really and for this in this instance between Crump Concrete Construction LLC and Northwest Concrete Cutting and Crane Service because they've got 15 reviews and 4.5 stars.
And these guys got 6 reviews and 5 stars. I mean they're so that's really the closer debate. We got 5, 15% going to this ad, maybe a little more with the reviews there. And then, we've got 60 to 70% going to this part of the listing, the more trusted section because you can't just buy your positioning there, right?
And then, you've got then the rest of the traffic. The difference goes down here and checks out the organic results. So that's how that's the breakdown, that's the statistics here. Then, I want to show you my tool that enables me to see how your business listing comes up around town.
There's an assumption that your listing comes up the same way around town and it's not true, okay? So, let's look at Siouxland K & K, for instance. Around here, you can see that they come up pretty done well in the Southwest Corner or Southeast corner of Sioux Falls and out into Northwest Iowa, you know?
Just out on the South Dakota border, right? Canton Granite all that stuff. But out by Brandon, they start to lose it and then start by Linux, they start to lose it. But then, as you get into Sioux Falls Proper, they really don't do all that well. Because as we know, green does means you're getting, you have a high chance of getting the call.
But yellow means you're close to getting the call, but you're still not on, you're still below this into the "View All" section. But then, red and orange means, you've got a lot more work to do before you can actually show up and be visible to people looking for concrete services. So that's how this works specifically.
Now let's dive into your specific map listing and go from there, alright? Weber Concrete, so this is your specific Google My Business Listing here. So, this is how it appears throughout the town of Sioux Falls, probably, more of a city. It's fast town status a while ago. But anyway, so that's this is how it appears.
And as we said earlier, green is where you want to want to be because that's where that shows that your business listing is actually showing up there, right? So, green, the 2, and the 3 here refer to position 2, and position 3 here. So that means that you're getting a third of a chance to get a call from the 60 to 70% of people looking to have concrete services done for them in Sioux Falls, right?
So that's how this all works. So, we're going back to your listing here. And then, but your one of your questions is probably, "Well! Kyle, how do you turn these 4's and 6's the areas that you said? Where the easier 1's to do, so to that to a 2, and a 3, you know?" Because the 4 will turn to a 2 and 2 the 6 will turn to a 3.
We'll, we can make that happen. So, one simple technique to use is called Geotagging. You'll Geotag the image to a specific location in Sioux Falls that you want your Google My Business Listing to come up as. So, a simple tool to use for that is Geoimgr (G-E-O-I-M-G-R). Then, you're going to what then, first of all, you need to upload an image.
You click on this blue box here and it'll give you an opportunity to upload your image. Once you've uploaded your image, it'll have a preview here and then you're going to go to your specific location. So, let's go to your place here. We want to start pulling up out by Schindler. So, on the West side of Schindler, okay?
So that's what we're going to do. We're going to come over here and we're going to go zoom out. We're going to go back to Schindler. We want to go to the West side of Schindler to get more to start taking over that market share there because that's more of the easier one. The yellow is the easier one. So then, you've got.
Then, you're going to- once you put that location pin down, notice how we have the latitude and longitude here. But how do we get it back to our listing? We have to do write EXIF or back to our photo. We click the "Write EXIF Tags," then we're going to save our image as a freshly poured concrete parking lot or something along those lines.
Because if you include parking lot and kind of include what you did at that location or why you might want to do that because I mean if you're not, don't do it. Not doing jobs out there. Currently, you're not going to have done jobs out there. So, what you would do is just add the word "Concrete" in there and come out and describe the job, you know?
The describe the dream job you have out there in 5 to 8 words, okay? Because then, it's more important. I'll come back to that in a minute. But then, you're gonna for image description, add another 5 to 8 words and a link perhaps to your website. Or, if you don't have one of those put to you, put one to your Google My Business Listing, okay?
Then, you're downloading this image and then uploading it to your Google My Business Listing, okay? Then, once it's in there, what Google is going to do is come in and scan the back of the image and they're going to notice the latitude and longitude. They're going to say "Hey! Okay! Something happened on the West side of Schindler, just South of Sioux Falls, alright?"
Then, what's going to happen is Google's going to be like "Okay! Well, what happened there?" What then they do is scan the document name "Oh! Some there's a freshly poured concrete parking lot out there. Well, okay! Well, who poured it?" You know that's gonna be their next question. "Who can they attribute that to?"
So, in that case, it's Weber Concrete out of Sioux Falls. That's what that's the one simple technique to use to get begin to get your Google My Business Listing to come up in places that it's not currently, alright? So, now, I want to talk for a minute about the overall strategy that Steady Calls my company takes when we optimize Google My Business Listings, alright?
Now, you've seen these three different things and you've seen how you show up in normal Google My Business Listings around town. As well as, you know how you could also improve your listing if you chose to using the Geotag technique. Now, I just want to tell you a little bit about how my companies, my company's Steady Calls helps companies in Sioux Falls.
We service Google Map Business Listings so that Google comes to know you as in this case the concrete king of the space. Then, you got to imagine there's different ones that we do, you know? You've got the concrete king, you got the HVAC king, you know? There's different ones that we do, so think. But what do we do with Google specifically, okay?
You got to think of Google in this case like your forgetful sister or wife, you know? You the Geotagging is one way. We send sticky notes to Google, reminding Google of your company's status inside of Sioux Falls, right? To stay at the top of your sisters or wife's mind, you go for. Basically, if you're telling your sister to do chores like we did when you were younger or you're still in the house or you know?
When you're trying to get your wife to remember to do something around the house that's been really bugging you. It's time to kind of reverse what stereotype is, but you know? Whatever you gotta continually remind them that you want to do something, maybe you want something done, you know?
